Nursing, Artificial Intelligence, Clinical Decision Support: Dr. Richard Booth and Lisa Totton - Lisa will provide an overview of a sample of reports created in Microsoft Power BI for Horizon Health Network, including barriers, lessons learned, and future next steps. Richard will provide insights related to his use of both provincial level healthcare administrative and social media datum to generate practice insights and predictive analyses. After the conclusion of Lisa and Richard’s respective presentations, group discussion related to the use of data in nursing practice will be facilitated.

This workshop is an introduction to informatics for nurses in all areas of practice, education, administration and research. This workshop will offer participants opportunities to learn directly from two nursing informatics experts.
