    Don't miss this conference workshop, Monday May 10 from 11:00AM-12:30PM (Eastern Time)

    Nursing, Artificial Intelligence, Clinical Decision Support: Dr. Richard Booth and Lisa Totton - Lisa will provide an overview of a sample of reports created in Microsoft Power BI for Horizon Health Network, including barriers, lessons learned, and future next steps. Richard will provide insights related to his use of both provincial level healthcare administrative and social media datum to generate practice insights and predictive analyses. After the conclusion of Lisa and Richard’s respective presentations, group discussion related to the use of data in nursing practice will be facilitated.

    This workshop is an introduction to informatics for nurses in all areas of practice, education, administration and research. This workshop will offer participants opportunities to learn directly from two nursing informatics experts. 

    Content will be directed to the informatics novice and include practical illustrations of core informatics concepts and competencies that are essential for all nurses.

    Title: Designing an mHealth Application to Coordinate Nurse-Provided Respite Care Services For Families Coping with Palliative-Stage Cancer: A Doctoral Research Proposal with Amy Castro, Msc(A), RN-this year’s recipient of the CNF’s Dr.Kathryn J. Hannah Nursing Informatics Award

    Respite care is a highly requested service for supporting families coping with chronic and complex conditions. In this webinar, Aimee Castro will present her doctoral research proposal to design a smartphone application to improve the coordination of respite care services by nurses to families coping with palliative-stage cancer.
