PROVINCIAL NURSING INFORMATICS GROUPS

This page is under construction. It will provide featured overviews of the existing Provincial Nursing Informatics Groups, as well as updates regarding planning of groups in Provinces that currently do not have one.

EXISTING PROVINCIAL GROUPS

At the current time, six of the Provinces have official Groups organized. The CNIA is dedicated to supporting the emergence of a group in every province and territory. We have seed money available to concretely support this. Please contact our President, Eithne Reichert, for more information about applying for seed money to begin a group in your home Province or Territory.

Saskatchewan Nursing Informatics Group - (SNIA)

The SNIA was initiated by a group of Saskatchewan Nurses with a common interest in Nursing Informatics. It is a non profit organization that was recognized as a membership unit in 2001 by the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association. READ MORE....


Manitoba Nursing Informatics Provincial Group - (MNIA)

The Manitoba Nursing Informatics Association (MNIA) is the nurses’ voice for health informatics in Manitoba.
